1. Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using L.O.S Farms (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), the User Agreement, and the Privacy Policy, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to all of these documents, do not use the Service.
If you are under 18, please also review the age requirement in Section 3.
2. What L.O.S Farms Is
L.O.S Farms is an unofficial, non-commercial, fan-operated project that recreates and preserves the original Flash-based version of FarmVille, a game originally created and published by Zynga Inc. L.O.S Farms:
- is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected in any way to Zynga Inc., Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook), or any of their subsidiaries, affiliates, or successors in interest;
- does not charge for access, does not sell virtual currency or items for real money, and does not accept donations or any other real-world payment in connection with the Service;
- is operated as a hobby/preservation project, using original game assets and data for purposes of historical preservation and nostalgia, without a license from the original rights holders.
All trademarks, service marks, trade names, game content, artwork, and other intellectual property of FarmVille belong to their respective owners. If you are a rights holder and have a concern, contact the staff through our Discord server and we will respond promptly.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the permission of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
Accounts are created by signing in with Discord. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Discord account secure. One account per person; do not share, sell, or transfer accounts.
4. Community Rules
When using the game, forums, chat, wiki, or our Discord bot, you agree not to:
- harass, threaten, or impersonate other players or staff;
- post illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful content;
- cheat, exploit bugs, or use automation, modified clients, or other tools to gain an unfair advantage — please report bugs to staff instead;
- attempt to access other accounts, the server, or its data without permission, or disrupt the Service for others;
- advertise, spam, or offer anything connected to the Service for real money.
5. Moderation and Termination
Staff may remove content, adjust or reset in-game progress or currency, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that break these Terms or harm the community. Staff actions are recorded internally for accountability. You may stop using the Service and ask for your account to be deleted at any time.
6. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" by volunteers. We do not guarantee that it will be available, error-free, or that your progress will be preserved, and the Service may change or shut down at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the people who operate L.O.S Farms are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, progress, or virtual items, arising from your use of the Service.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and announce significant changes in the forums or on Discord. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
