Harvest Summit is the L.O.S Farms hub: a mountaintop town square the size of four fully expanded farms, high above a vast ocean, where farmers walk around, hang out and chat with the people near them. It's on the website, so it works in the launcher, in any browser, and on phones.
Getting there
Press β°οΈ Summit in the site menu, or the β°οΈ Summit button at the top of the game page. You arrive by the Harvest Fountain in the Town Square.
Your farmer
You're your own FarmVille avatar, in the clothes you picked in the game. The game sends your look to the Summit when you load it, and again whenever you save a new look, so play the game once after an update and your farmer shows up as you. Until then you're the classic FarmVille starter farmer.
Walking around
- Click or tap the ground to walk there; your farmer finds the way around trees and buildings.
- Arrow keys or WASD walk too. Hold Shift to run (on a phone, tap twice).
- Drag the ground to look around, and scroll or pinch to zoom.
- The map in the corner shows the whole Summit and the farmers in it: click it to walk there. Go to takes you to each district.
The five towns
Every district is a modern town themed on a country, with the capital in the middle. Everything in the Summit, every building, tree, lamp, bench and boat, is drawn by the L.O.S Farms team, and every building on the streets is one of a kind. Roads with lane lines, sidewalks and zebra crossings run through the towns, and country roads join them across the woods and meadows.
| Town | Where | Inspired by | What's there |
|---|---|---|---|
| Summit City (the capital) | The middle | πΊπΈ New York City | Glass skyscrapers, Art Deco towers, brownstones with fire escapes and water tanks, and corner delis, diners and bodegas. The Summit State Building (the leaderboard), City Hall (forums), the Public Library (wiki), the Auction House, the Guild Hall (clans) and the Broadway Theatre, with Lady Liberty statues guarding the plaza. |
| Maple Ridge | The top, toward the mountains | π¨π¦ Canada | Timber lodges and glass towers among blue spruce and red maples, the Summit Tower, Maplestead Church and a maple-leaf fountain. The cliff terrace faces the sun and the sea. |
| Lantern Town | The right | π¨π³ China | Shophouses with red columns and sweeping roofs, pagoda towers, a night market of stalls, the Dragon Hall, the River Tea House and the Jade Dragon Fountain. |
| Siam Gardens | The left | πΉπ Thailand | Bangkok shophouses with balconies and signs, golden salas, glass towers, the Golden Sala Stage for events, the Spirit House and palms. |
| Sydney Cove | The bottom | π¦πΊ Australia | A harbour with piers, boats, a cruise ship and the lighthouse, the Harbour Opera House, sandstone terraces, Queenslanders on stilts, surf shops and gum trees. |
Each town has a central square, two main streets crossing it and a ring street, with its own street lamps.
Turn the view with the β² β³ buttons at the top (or Q and E) to see the Summit from all four sides. Signs, boards and buildings with a β cursor open things around the site, or show a message.
The seasons πΈβοΈπβοΈ
Every building, tree and decoration in the Summit is the Summit's own (141 custom pieces in each town's colours), and they all change with the season:
| Season | When | What you'll see |
|---|---|---|
| πΈ Spring | March to May | Fresh green grass with daisies, blossom on the trees, petals in the air. |
| βοΈ Summer | June to August | Deep green, flowers in bloom, fireflies on summer nights. |
| π Fall | September to November | Red, orange and gold trees, leaves on the ground and in the air, autumn hills. |
| βοΈ Winter | December to February | Snow on every roof, lawn and path, bare trees, a frozen fountain, snowy hills and falling snow. |
The pine trees stay green all year. Staff can also set a season for events.
Shops πͺ
Buildings marked For rent can be yours. Click one to rent it.
| Building | Where | Holds | Rent a week |
|---|---|---|---|
| Market Stall | Round Lantern Town's night market | 4 different items | 1,500 coins |
| Shop | Lantern Town's streets | 8 different items | 6,000 coins |

- You can have one shop. Rent is paid in coins, a week at a time, up to four weeks ahead. Click your shop to pay more.
- Put things on sale from your Gift Box: pick the item, how many (up to 99) and its price in coins. They leave your Gift Box while they're on sale.
- Other farmers click your shop to buy. The coins come straight to you, and what they bought goes to their Gift Box.
- Give your shop a name, a colour and a line about it. Its sign shows over the building for everyone.
- When the rent runs out, or you close the shop, anything unsold goes back to your Gift Box. Rent already paid isn't refunded.
Clan halls π°
- A clan's leader can rent a Clan Lodge in Maple Ridge (25,000 coins a week) or a Clan Castle in the countryside (100,000 coins a week). One each clan. Your clan's banner and crest fly over it.
- Anyone can click it to look round: members, points and clan news, and join (or ask to join, if it's invite only).
- Any member can pay the rent. The leader can accept or decline requests, remove members, post clan news, and change the clan's name, description, crest and who can join. It's the same clan as in the game.
- The Guild Hall in Summit City lists every clan, and walks you to its hall.
The Auction House π¨
The grandest building in Summit City. Its six lots stand on pedestals out front, and a lot shows SOLD when it's gone. Click the house or a pedestal to browse and buy: what you buy goes to your Gift Box.
Talking: proximity chat π¬
The Summit's chat works like real life: the farmers near you hear you.
- Press Enter, type, and press Enter again. What you say shows in a speech bubble over your farmer, and in the chat log.
- Farmers within 14 squares read your words. A little farther (up to 32 squares) they just see "β¦": someone's talking over there.
- π£ Shout (or start a message with
!) to be heard up to 28 squares away. You can shout once every 30 seconds. - π React with an emoji that floats above your head.
- Staff can π’ announce to the whole Summit.
The Summit uses the same rules as the rest of chat. Messages are kept for 14 days so the staff can look into reports.
Staying safe
- Click a farmer to see their profile, report them or block them. Blocked farmers disappear for you, with their messages.
- β next to a message in the chat log reports it to the staff.
- Staff can mute farmers in the Summit or send them back to the fountain.
Good to know
- The sky follows the time of day in US Eastern time: dawn, day, dusk, and a moonlit night with lamps glowing.
- Nothing you do in the Summit changes your farm, and nothing in it costs Farm Cash.
- Your farmer sits out (π€) after 5 minutes without moving, and you leave the Summit when you close the page.
