Crafting & Workshops

Crafting turns what you grow into goods: wine, pies, yarn, sweets, potions, furniture, and more. Goods sell for coins, fill order boards, count toward quests, and can be turned into fuel for your vehicles.

Crafting buildings

These buildings craft, keep their goods, and level up:

  • Winery, Bakery, Spa, and the Restaurant
  • Dairy, Yarn Barn, Sweet Shop, and Apothecary
  • Horse Stable and the elite horse stables
  • Hollybright Park

Everything in them is saved: crafting, harvesting, goods, unlocked stations and recipes, upgrades, bigger storage, and order boards with their rewards.

How crafting works

  1. Fill the building with bushels. You earn bushels by harvesting crops (see Farming Basics). Short of one? Shop at friends' Market Stalls, or use the Bushel Trader.
  2. Pick a recipe and craft. Recipes take time. Finish It takes the finished recipe off the table straight away.
  3. Recipes level up. The more you make a recipe, the higher its level, and the better the goods you can make. Recipes that were locked when you first opened a building open once its star level is high enough (Black Raspberry Wine in the Restaurant, for example).
  4. Restaurant ovens: starting a new recipe in a slot that's still cooking pays out the old one first, so nothing is lost.

Mastering a recipe sends its sign to your Gift Box. Lost it? You can buy it back.

Order boards

Many crafting buildings and stables have an order board asking for goods. Fill orders for rewards; a new board is dealt as you finish one. Throwing away bushels from crafting storage frees space.

Farmville Village (Farmer's Square)

Farmer's Square is a village with its own coins and points, reached through the Travel menu (see Travel & Worlds).

  • Your first visit gives you 500 village coins, a Lumber Mill, a Brick Supplier, a Workshops building, and a Village Storage in your Gift Box. Place them to get started.
  • Supply buildings (Lumber Mill, Brick Supplier, Dairy, Recycling Center, Grain Silo, Cotton Mill): harvest them for ingredients. Everything goes into village storage.
  • Workshops: make goods like frames, tables, and chairs from those ingredients. Place the Workshops building and your first table opens; more tables can be bought as upgrades.
  • The order board asks for the goods you can make. Fill orders for village coins and village points, skip ones you don't like, or buy what's missing.
  • The Gas Station, Garden, and Mechanic Shop cost village coins to harvest and get better each level.

Lighthouse Cove

The Lighthouse Cove is an upgrade building on the Lighthouse Cove farm.

  • Each stage needs the stones, logs, and steel beams the window shows (4 of each for the first stage). Ask neighbors for parts.
  • Reaching stage 11 comes with a bonus reward, sent to your Gift Box.
  • The cove's Restaurant cooks recipes like the other crafting buildings.
  • The cove can be moved: click it and choose Move. It keeps its stage.
  • The cove's own "Complete 1 Orchard" quest counts the Cove orchard.
